Introducing the new District Carbon Playing Shaft
Meet the newly engineered carbon fiber performance shaft. Our cue is constructed with aerospace carbon fiber and an acoustic-dampening core filling for advanced cue control.

Pro Performance.
Without the Premium Price.
We engineered District Carbon to solve the biggest problem in the carbon fiber shaft market: excessive cost without tangible performance gains. By utilizing advanced aerospace composites and a calibrated inertial-bias architecture, we deliver a shaft that hits pure, deflects less, and costs half of what the competition charges.

Engineered Performance for Optimized Feedback
District Carbon Pro shafts utilize a Variable Density Core Construction, intentionally leaving the front 20% distinct to reduce end-mass. This calculated distribution acts as a kinetic pivot point.
The result is a responsive front-end design with a vibration-canceling internal structure. It mimics the natural frequency of maple while eliminating hollow-shaft harmonic distortion.
Taper Profile Comparison
The Pro Taper maintains a rapid, consistent diameter through your bridge hand, eliminating the "climbing" friction feel of conical shafts. Combined with our silky carbon finish, it delivers the smoothest stroke in the game.
Multi-Directional Strength Construction
Unlike standard hollow or solid carbon tubes, our shafts utilize a precision-engineered multi-directional layering matrix (-45°, 0°, +45°, 90°). This specific fiber orientation stabilizes the shaft against radial forces at impact, eliminating the "dead" feel common in other carbon cues. The result is a structure that resists warping and delivers maximum energy transfer, providing the consistency of carbon with the high-performance "action" and feedback of premium maple.

Designed in the District.
I'm TJ Cichecki, the Designer of District Carbon. I’ve spent the last 15 years in the nation's capital working as a professional designer in branding, marketing, and exhibition design, working deep in the trenches of fabrication and logistics. I understand how things are built, how much they actually cost, and where the corporate markup comes from.
As an APA Pool League Team Captain here in DC, I’ve seen teammates and competitors alike priced out of quality equipment. It hit me while walking the floor at the Super Billiards Expo in Philly: the market is flooded with great gear, but it’s gated behind massive greed and corporate overhead.
I created District Carbon to break that cycle. By using my experience in industrial design and sourcing, I cut out the middleman to offer a single, premium product. No influencer campaigns. No inflated marketing budgets. Just pure performance, creating equality on the table by making professional-grade shafts accessible to everyone.
